The Spirit of the West Druid Gathering Dog Owner Agreement and Dog Registration Form

We have been given special permission by the Campground Manager to allow dogs to attend the Gathering. Due to this special permission, it is MANDATORY for all dog owners who wish to bring their dog(s) with them to read, understand and sign this release form. All rules are in place to keep the Gathering a safe and enjoyable event for attendees and dogs alike, and to hopefully receive permission to allow dogs at any future events held at this location.

*Important* - Before completing this form, please Read the Rules and Regulations with regard to dogs below:

Mandatory Rules for Dogs and Owners Attending Spirit of the West Druid Gathering

1.) I agree to keep my dog(s) under control AT ALL TIMES.
2.) I agree to clean up any and all feces my dog(s) produces immediately after s/he defecates and discard the bag in a proper refuse container.(Bags will be available from the Dog Overseer if necessary). I also agree to not allow urination in manicured grass areas.
3.) Dogs are NOT allowed in any buildings including cabins. If you are attending with your dog(s) you must stay in a tent or RV.
4.) I agree to keep my dog(s) on a leash 6 feet long or less and the leash in my hand when around other people and groups, and during seminars, rituals, or other gatherings (if they are allowed to attend).
5.) All dogs must be under direct adult supervision AT ALL TIMES.
6.) I agree to prevent my dog(s) from nuisance barking.
7.) I agree to heed any warnings given to me and to follow any further rules given to me either verbally or in writing by the Organizers and/or Dog Overseer.

Owner and Dog Information

Your contact information will be used only by the Organizing Committee to contact you in regards to the Spirit of the West Druid Gathering and to perform administrative functions. No part of the information you provide on this registration form will be provided or sold to any third parties.

Your legal name must be provided for the purpose of entering into the Dog Owner's Agreement, but it will not be published publicly. Your legal name will not be shared with anyone outside of the Organizing Committee.

Waiver of Release For Dogs and Acceptance of Camp Rules and Regulations/Disclaimers With Regard to Dogs


In consideration of the opportunity to have my dog participate, I/we agree to hold the Organizers of The Spirit of the West Druid Gathering and all other participants, cosponsors, members, volunteers, assistants, relatives and employees, or the owners/managers of the Campground harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of my dog(s) at the Gathering and I/we personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I/we further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog, by disappearance, theft, dog fight, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog(s), whether such loss, disappearance, theft, dog fight, damage or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes.

I hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all losses and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting there from, sustained by any person or persons including myself or on account of damage to property arising out of or in consequence of participation in any event, however such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other persons.

  • I/we certify that the dog(s) to be attending this event are not a hazard to persons or other dogs.
  • I agree to follow all rules and regulations regarding dog owners' responsibilities at this event. If I break any of these rules and/or if my dog(s) is deemed to be a danger to other people and/or dogs I will follow any procedures deemed necessary by the Organizers and/or Dog Overseer, which may include mandatory leashing and muzzling up to removing my dog(s) from the premises completely. Further I understand that in such a case no refund will be given.
